There is an experienced and dedicated therapist to help you... My passion is helping my clients achieve peace...
Together, we will find the possible

My North Star and passion is helping my clients achieve peace using cognitive therapy to untangle thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and lives. I also aim to help you find the “possible” in the sea of what looks like the “impossible.”

My ultimate goal is to help people discover an accurate narrative of who they are and what they are worth.

Cheryl Gray's Biography

I have always had an interest in the intricacies of the human condition and our ability to be courageous under pressure. One of my favorite movies is Ordinary People which gives insight into someone who is suffering with survivor's guilt and PTSD. I was so moved by this movie, it inspired me to be of service where my talents led.

Cheryl's Mission

I want to help people to see the possibilities in life and know that there is a path to get there.

Professional Background

I was a late bloomer. While trying to decide my career path, I joined the army. After my service I had a baby and was a stay at home mother. I then decided to become a professional student and work towards getting a degree. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. My bachelor’s degree helped me get a job in the mental health field where I worked with some of the most courageous human beings I've ever met. I had the pleasure of watching people with mental health issues overcome great odds and achieve success. They inspired me to study counseling at Amberton University in Garland, where I graduated with my master’s degree.

Military Background

I am an Army veteran. This is why I have been committed to working with other military veterans, as well as civilians, in providing CPT for individuals with PTSD since 2012. I was trained in CPT by the state of Texas and I am a Texas-approved provider.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

I believe in the supervisor/intern process. I had a great experience as an intern with my experienced board supervisor. I strive to bring this experience and expertise to my supervisees. My fees are reasonable.
